Last minute surprise from family!

After our fun trip to Canada, my sister and her family ended up coming down our way to visit family. It was fun to go to different places and spend the week with them.

My sister reading Braxton a book.

Melanie brought some new toy food for Braxton that you can pretend to cut in half which than got all the kiddos involved in playing pretend with the food.

While the adults were sitting on the couch talking, Braxton came running out to the living room dressed like the picture below which made us wonder what the kids were doing. So I grabbed my camera and we were watching from down the hall and soon to realize they were pretending to go through a drive through and get food like McDonalds. So clever! I'm sure it was Melanie's girls that thought of it. The kids had so much fun pretending they were picking up kids meals from McDonalds.

K.Rae taking there order.

The chef handing the order person the bag of food.

So fun to watch them play. They took turns in who did what too.

The next day, my brother Wade came over with his family for a visit and lunch.

On a different night of the week my sister Emily and I watched all the kids so my older sister and her husband could spend a night by themselves for their anniversary.

Happy Pioneer day, people lit off fireworks for the 24th of July. And our house is a great place to stay and watch neighbors light off fireworks.

Just random pictures of the kids playing with each other during the week.

One day we went to a different play place for all the cousins to play. Wade and his family thought of the place. It was a fun way to burn all that extra energy the kids have.

They had rock climbing.

And huge blow up slides.

They had air blowing in there to keep the balloons moving around.

This is a picture of everything they had in the building.

Love this picture!

The kids really liked this quarter operated Merry-go-round!

We later on went swimming near the end of the week.

Due to Braxton having a ruptured eardrum, he needed to keep ear plugs in his ears and the best way to do that was by wearing this swimmers cap. Do whatever you can to make things work, right? I'm so glad he didn't mind wearing it, once he got in the water, swimming kept him distracted from the cap.

It was a fun week and we were glad we were able to spend the week with my sister and her family. We enjoy every minute we get with them since our visits with each other only happen 1-2 times a year.
