I know this is a month late as far as posting goes, but I was on time for when it was his birthday on the 25th of February. I am way behind on posting, so I hope to only catch up these next few weeks.
Anyhow, Jackson had a birthday and turned 29! It's just crazy to think that I'm married to a 29 year old, although I myself am getting up there right along with him as well.
Well for his birthday this year, I made him a cheese cake. I first asked him if he wanted chocolate or cheese cake and his response was, "Can I have both?!" I should have known. So I made him the chocolate the week before when his family came to visit and the cheesecake for his actual birthday. As many may know, I'm pretty big on candles and getting your birthday wish, so even though I knew 29 would be a lot of candles, I still went for it and loaded up the cake with candles. (as for this first picture, the lighting was terrible, but wanted to show the cake)
Than I bought him an xbox game that he's been wanting for quite a while. Luckily it's not something (at least I hope) he'll get too addicted too. But it did make his night. It's the new "Madden NFL" game. I had it wrapped and just new that he would guess that it was some type of game, so I quickly wrapped the "Beauty and the Beast" disney movie that I never told him I bought and hid the wrapped game in my sweatshirt. So when he opened up the movie and saw that it wasn't a game, his face was priceless. So than I pulled the wrapped up game out of my sweatshirt and had him open that. He was excited about it. Jackson did admit that "Beauty and the Beast" was one of his favorites. We ended up watching it that same night.
Overall I thought his birthday went very well! Happy Birthday Jackson, luv you!! Hope your birthday wish comes true!!
