BABY PLOTT!

Well this post is really old and should of been done weeks ago, but better late than never I always say! Jackson and I are having a BABY BOY!! (at least so we have been told that by the ultrasound tech people). I found out I was pregnant way back on June 26th, right after I got back from my Canada trip with my sisters and mom. I was actually kind of shocked, surprised, and excited all at once to find out that I was pregnant, I didn't think I was because I wasn't really sick or had any signs of pregnancy, I was tired a lot but didn't think much of it, plus I just didn't think it would ever happen.
So now, to tell Jackson, I've had this baby bear and bib for a long time that I've had hidden just incase I ever got pregnant to tell Jackson.
I put it out on our dining room table hoping he'd see it when he got home. Well the time came for Jackson to come home. I had my iphone camera all ready to record him, I was sitting on the couch in a way so it looks like I was just playing on my phone and not really recording him. He walks in from work just like any ordinary day. It looked like he kind of looked at the table but I guess really didn't. Well after 1-2 minutes of our normal conversation after he gets off work, the normal questions, how was work, what'd you do etc. Jackson in the mean time during this nothing of a conversation starts stripping down to just his skibbys because it's June/hot and it's normal for us to walk around in comfortable clothes of pj's and what not. So before Jackson starts working on taking off his pants lol I say, "Jackson! Look at the table." So he said, "What?" and walks towards the table. He reads the bib out loud. "I love my daddy" he looks at me and says, "You are?! (as I'm nodding) "Really?!?!" It's not a really good recording to show the world, but at least I got part of his reaction where he says "Really" and starts smiling. I shut the camera off after that because he was walking towards me and no need to see him hugging and kissing me to death. So ya, we're way excited.

So now, to tell everyone else. We thought of many different ways to tell the family. We wanted to wait until I was at least 12 weeks before we let family know just because of the fear of miscarriage. So as we are throwing around a lot of ideas. Jackson than said, "Well, we might as well should wait until we know what it is, what's a few more weeks?" Which let me tell ya, those 18 weeks of waiting to tell people was the longest 18 weeks of my life! I almost came so close to telling my mom in that timeframe. It was horrible!!  But we did it, I of course let some very close friends know which was good, cause I would of went insane! I just had too!!! I couldn't keep it all to myself and Jackson. Jackson on the other hand had no problem at all with not telling a soul. Jackson wins this battle of keeping it a secret. And luckily I never got nauseated so I could hide it very well from most people. I was of course TIIIIIRED all the time. So tired!! That was horrible, being so tired and having no energy, but I guess I should be grateful that I never got the nausea and morning sickness.

So to tell people, we just decided to buy a shirt with a skeleton that had a baby on it. And if it was a girl than it would put a pink bow on it's head. Because it was the month of October/Halloween for when we found out the sex of the baby. So we got some pictures taken of us and made the announcement that we sent out to everyone! I just have to be honest and thank my mom, I went to Shelley a few days before with the shirt on to tell JUST my mom, (Jackson approved of it, Thanx Jackson!) so she could help me with making the announcement, which my mom did an excellent job!!! :) Just a side note about how my mom reacted. I took a bus because Jackson was going to head up a few days later and we didn't want two cars in Shelley. So I took a Salt Lake bus, and as I walked off the bus at the place where my mom was picking me up, I'm wearing the shirt and as I'm walking to my mom, she makes this gesture about the shirt, with a question on her face (cause all she can see is the ribcage from a distance). I'm just nodding my head. As I get closer, she sees the baby at the bottom and points at her stomach as another gesture/ question/smiling. I'm just continue to nod my head with a smile. She too said, "Really?!?!" She too was way excited! :) But I'm glad I told her because I just don't have my mom's computer skills to make this cute of announcement. Thanx mom!
So finally the ultrasound to tell us the gender, we showed up at the appointment early cause we were so excited to finally have an ultrasound, so here's a picture of us waiting in the car. It felt like forever for this day to come.
Than we had the ultrasound, it was at least an hour long video. They did a lot of measurements of every part of the baby, checking everything out. We could of course been fine with staying there all day if they would have let us, we didn't mind watching our baby. They tried looking for the gender 3 different times. The placenta is right in the front so that made it hard to find it. All the pictures/measurements came from the sides of my belly. Plus the baby's head was up top of the uterus and the legs were down near the bottom which was more down in the hip. So finally at the end, the tech said "Ok, look at this, were calling it!" And printed us out a picture of what they think is male parts. The baby's heart rate was also 146 BPM which we've been told by other's, boys heart rates are usually in the 140's. The tech also said the baby was measuring 7 days ahead of schedule. My OB doesn't want to move up the due date though unless it was ten days ahead. So as of now, I'm still Due March 5th, 2013. I have another ultrasound on December 13 to get some more size and measurements to make sure the baby is still due on that day, and another sneak peek at the gender :) Jackson is really hoping I have the baby on his birthday which is February 25th. Which I wouldn't mind it being on his birthday, Jackson is really excited about the baby and what a cheap birthday present for Jackson ;) But we'll just see what happens. Here are some pictures of our little man for now. I was 18 weeks at this ultrasound. :) But I am 26 weeks today.
Baby's head and it's long leg up top
 Two legs
Look at that leg bone/foot!! :)

3D ultrasound, looks like an alien I know, but we still love him!

This baby belly shot is the only one I will post, this picture is for all of those that have been asking for a picture of me ;)
I'm 22 weeks in this picture. Emily forced me to get this picture one day when she came to help me with my primary lesson one Sunday.

This last picture, I just love, it's a picture I took of Jackson one day when he was watching our baby ultrasound video. I can't describe how excited Jackson really is about our baby! :)
