My friend Michelle had back surgery about a month ago. She runs a daycare in her home and with her having restrictions of no bending and lifting, she's been having friends and family come assist her with her kiddos that she watches. So after looking into my schedule, I found a day that would work where I could come help out. It was fun day for Braxton and I. I'm glad we where able to go.
Braxton outside playing with there toy lawn mower.
Michelle's son and one of the other kiddos' she watches.
It was kind of weird for me at times to see Braxton walk around everybody and be a bit bigger in size from all the other babies that where crawling around and just learning to pull themselves up on toys. I'm only use to seeing him as my baby, not the big kid.
He loved there toy kitchen! Might be something I need to keep my eye out for at garage sales.
Snack time, they all started sharing each other's snacks. It was super cute!
Braxton decided that he would feed the kiddos next to him. Braxton was one of the older ones in the group, or at least a little bit more physically advanced than the two pictured with him. The two boys next to him are 18 month old twins.
A talking riding horse for Braxton to try and ride. He loved! He needed my assistance with making him move on it, but nonetheless loved it.
Michelle own's a LOT of toys! Which was great, but I probably drove Michelle crazy because everytime I went downstairs to do something, I always saw a new toy that I thought Braxton would love to play with. So I just kept bringing up all these different toys making her house look all sorts of cluttered. So after bringing up the toy horse, I just had to bring up this huge stuffed bear. Which he did love!
The boys just loved it. There was a point where the three of them where playing some sort of game with each other and where doing some type of baby talk. It was cute to watch.
I found these "workman" goggles lying around that I thought would be fun to put on Braxton.
He surprisingly enough kept them on for about 5-10 min. It was cute to watch him walk around the house wearing goggles and holding a powerdrill. I just had to snap a picture. I took a ton of pictures trying to get the perfect picture of him in his goggles. He really is a good sport when it comes to us putting things on his head. He would totally keep a hair bow in his head if he was a girl.
Lucky for us Michelle had a fenced backyard. I didn't want to leave Maximus home all day since he's so use to having Braxton and I around everyday. So we brought him a long and I had to snap a few pictures of him. Maximus really enjoyed a new place to run and play. He did really well for the most part with the kids too. Some of the older kids wanted to go outside and play with him. I went outside as well, just to play it safe and make sure everything went okay with Maximus and the kiddos. Maximus really did well. He never barked at the kids or show anytype of anger towards them. He did like to try and jump on the kids. He too of course just wanted to play with whoever was outside with him. So I just told the kids that they couldn't run around or else Maximus would think your playing chase with him. It really was fun to watch Maximus with the kids just to get an idea of how he would do. Maximus was quick at times and knocked a few kids over on accident, but no harm done. He dosen't realize they are much smaller than him. Maximus isn't really like that with Braxton, but I think it's just because it was the novelty of new kids, a being in a new area, and just some extra excitement for him.
Some pictures of Maximus.
Braxton playing on Michelle's notepad/electronic device. I know it's not an Ipad because the game she has can't be downloaded on my Ipad, I just don't remember the name of it. Braxton LOVED it though! He thought it was the greatest thing ever to pop the balloons floating onto the screen. It was so fun to watch how excited he got!
Michelle's son wanted to join in on the balloon popping.
A lot of these next few pictures are similar, but I just loved his face. He had the cutest smile and just loved this game! I had to post them all, I couldn't choose just one pic.
My sister Emily comes over just about once a week, usually every Wednesday to hang out since thats the day we don't have a daddy home with us. Sometimes she can't make it, but for the most part we get to see her alot. I didn't get a ton of pictures from her last visit but did get a few and these are them.
This one is of Braxton with my waterbottle. As soon as he sees me start drinking from my waterbottle anytime we are in the car, he'll start squealing for it as well for a drink. I just thought this was a cute pic of him. No worries, I wasn't driving yet in this pic. Emily and I where out and about running arrons that day.
At the car shop waiting for Emily's car to get fixed.
Afterwards, we went out to lunch.
Braxton just being silly.
So with that being said, one night when I dropped him off, her boy wanted to take a bath. I just jokingly said, "Oh Braxton loves baths." Which is true, but I didn't think she'd want to throw him in a bath with her kiddos, haha.
So this picture is of her two kiddos and Braxton having a bath. I had to leave shortly after the start of the bath but he seemed to enjoy it. There where some cool tub markers I need to look into getting myself.
