His 6 month immunizations: DTaP, Polio, Hib, Prevnar, RotaTeq, Hep B,

His appointment went well. He doesn't tolerate shots as well as brother, in fact he usually ends up with a fever that same night. The only thing we are worried about with him is that his legs seem tight and he can't put weight on his legs, at least not for very long. We're almost sure it's because of the hip braces he wore for so long. The doctor thinks he might have developed leg contractures which is "the result of a stiffness or constriction in your muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments, or skin that restricts normal movement. It develops when your normally pliable connective tissues become less flexible." This means your range of motion will be limited. So the doctor wants to have him see a Physical Therapist to have him evaluated. Other than that he's growing as he should and his weight keeps increasing a percentile with every single checkup. It's crazy to think he use to be down in the 2nd-5th percentile. We can thank daddy for his weight improvement, he feeds him lots in the evenings I'm gone for work. He's still not much into baby food but getting better at it. He hates fruits or at least his face sure shows that he hates it. He's okay with veggies, but not too quick at learning how to eat with a spoon like Braxton was.

He's sleeps in a crib now and does really well with it. I think he likes being able to stretch out more. He takes 2-3 short naps a day.

He still hates tummy time, we're working on that though. He likes to sit up but can't quite hold himself up yet. He does pretty good for a few minutes but than falls over. I'm sure physical therapy will help that out a lot. He likes his jumper and loves to smile at everyone and anything, even complete strangers. He loves to laugh and smile at his crazy brother. We sure do love our little G-man!
