Hidden Treasures!

I was going through some old pictures on my cell phone and found these hidden treasures! Time frame for these are about from the middle of November till the beginning of January.

Braxton's favorite meal, breakfast!

Aunt Lou visiting.

This was a day spent indoors when both boys were sick. They don't look too sick in these pictures but earlier in the day the were just not well. My easy going chill babies.

Trying soup for the first time, loved it!

Braxton LOVES soup!

Bath time!

My boys had such long hair! That's what we get when one of them hates getting his haircut.

Braxton found this bowl and spoon and started pretending to feed Greyson.

I found a dog toy one day that Maximus had not played with yet and it is one that squeaks. Maximus is being so good at being patient and not taking it from him. It is killing him!

During our trip with my parents to Washington a while back, my dad spilt an entire bag of candy all over the car while he was driving. Well it has stayed in my car and I haven't taken the time to clean it up. It was like chewy sweet tarts so it wasn't going to melt or anything. But one day, Braxton noticed all these candies lying around on the corners/cracks of the floor. He started picking them up and eating them. It was a daily thing for him to instantly look for candy as soon as the car door was opened up for us to go somewhere. I thought I'd snap this picture of him and show Grandpa Hawkins what happened with all that candy he spilt.

Candy in Braxton's hand.

As soon as we got home and unbuckled, he instantly dashed for the floor to start searching for more candy.

Wanting to try out the baby car seat.

I decided to be brave and cut my hair really short back in December. I don't think I thought this through very well lol. I knew I wanted it shorter but I don't think I wanted it this short. Oh well, it will grow back someday ... I hope. I haven't had hair this short since middle school. So it has been a huge adjustment for me to get use to. No offense to the one who cut the hair, she did a good job but I don't like it lol. I want my long hair back. I can only hope that someday it will grow back. It's been about 6 months since my haircut and it is still pretty short. It's not growing back fast at all. :(

We decided to decorate the tree with ornaments just a few days before Christmas and Braxton found this baby ornament of Greyson that was given to us the previous year from the hospital. Braxton started to get sad and whimper at the picture because it is a sad picture of when Greyson was so sick but I quickly reassured him that Greyson is okay now. Braxton was so particular when deciding where each ornament needed to go. Sadly only the bottom half was decorated but it still looked beautiful I think. We had blue Christmas lights hence the reason Braxton looked so blue. :)

Greyson's first Christmas ornament from the hospital, he was still on oxygen in this picture.

The ornament from Grandma and Grandpa Hawkins for Greyson's first Christmas ornament. The words were so fitting for him for his first Christmas.

Many cute pictures of Greyson taken on different days.

Playing with there car mat.

Don't see this kind of picture too often and I don't think Braxton was there too long either. This was taken Christmas Eve morning.

All the snow we woke up to on Christmas morning. There was lots, probably the most snow we got all year round.

Several other neighbors where out shoveling the snow as well.

I decided to spend our Christmas money from my Grandma and Grandpa Hawkins, (the boys Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Hawkins) on educational supplies for our basement. Thanx Grandma and Grandpa! We love it!

Greyson trying out the toy car one day, he loved it!

Finally had the time to build gingerbread houses, or in our case trains. And yes this happened sometime in January but at least we got the chance to do it.

Luv this picture of Greyson! He wasn't walking yet but pulling himself up to stand by things. Peek a boo!

Braxton loves his brother!

A morning spent at the library during toddler playtime.

Just another day spent in Braxton's room. Greyson loves his big brother's room.

Found this knitted blue hat in Braxton's closet and decided to throw it on him for fun. He kept it on for quite awhile but I think it's because he forgot about it because he isn't much into hats.

Check out this bruise! What a crazy place to get a bruise. It was bigger and more purple a day or two before I took this picture. Braxton somehow slipped in the kitchen chair and hit his ear on the chair. I thought it was more so his head but after finding this bruise it apparently was more so his ear. Didn't know an ear could bruise like that.

A little blurry but I was sitting at the kitchen table when this was taken, so it was a quick snapshot of Braxton's love for Maximus.

Braxton painting after I got the boys handprints for their Grandma's birthday cards.

The finished Birthday card for Grandma Hawkins/Plott.

While Braxton and I were busy working on the birthday cards, Greyson fulfilled his lifelong dream at playing in Maximus's water dish! I didn't even hear him, he was giggling and having fun but I didn't bother to notice until it was too late after the fact. And luckily he couldn't drink the water, just splash in it with a toy.

I found him like this, putting his head in and out and in and out. Almost like he was trying to look at something in the bowl.

As you can tell he is soooo wet! Especially on his face and pants.
