I am officially done with nursing school! It is hard to believe and I never thought this day would come! It feels sooooo good to be done and to not have the stress that comes with school. Nursing school was very difficult for me and probably one of the BIGGEST accomplishments I have ever done and it has been a long 6 years. Now all I have to worry about is studying for the NCLEX exam, a very expensive test that I have to pass in order to get my RN license. I'm a little worried for the test but will continue to study and hope for the best. I won't be taking that until sometime in June around the 15th, so ya, we won't talk anymore about that, moving on. :)As for graduation, it was great! All happened on May 13, 2011! As my friend Susie would put it, "I was on cloud 9!" :) I had just about the same kind of excitement that I had the night before I got married! ;) Just very excited, I couldn't stop smiling and when my nursing buddies and I had our pinning ceremony practice, that is when it hit me. I couldn't believe how real it was! As I am sitting there through our practice ceremony, I start to think about the last two years of nursing school. I cried a lot, I was stressed constantly, and there were those few times that my friends and I were calculating my score wondering if I even passed! :S But I've done it! I've passed! I am so eternally grateful for the many answered prayers by my Savior and for the love I have recieved from my family to keep me strong and help push me along! My mom was my number one supporter and I couldn't have done it with out her constant faith and prayers, not just through nursing school but for the last 6 years of school in itself. (Th
anks mom!) I am so grateful for Jackson and his love and support he gave me through our first year of marriage and to just jump aboard my nursing train of stress and chaos. He was very supportive and even got him self stressed along side with me at times. (So thanks Jackson for all that you've done for me and for all your love!) Anyhow, so there was the Pinning Ceremony/scrubs for just the nursing students at 4:00PM and the Graduation ceremony/cap and gown at 7:00PM. The pinning ceremony was the best! Just cause it was focused on just the nursing students and I think everyone in the audience as well as the students knew what a big deal it is to have made it this far and to finally graduate! So the pinning ceremony was my favorite! The cap and gown was exciting too, just slow because there were a lot of College graduates with other degrees that night as well, but still wonderful!

The apartment looked way cute and she put a lot of work into it to make my day more special! Mom and dad bought me a cute graduation cake and Jackson's parents brought the ice cream. It was a great night! I am very grateful for those who came to support me that day in Twin Falls, it truly meant A LOT to me! I also appreciate the love and support I have received from family and friends who live far away! I couldn't have done it without the prayers, love and support! So Thank You!
My study group and forever friends from nursing school! I honestly could NOT have done it without them! Love them all!

Congratulations Rachel!!! I know I'm proud of you! But I always knew you were a strong, determined person!
