Our New Home!

Just thought I'd post some pictures of our new home! :) These are pictures from the advertisement so stuff like the couches and the dinning room table/bar stools don't belong to us but at least it can show people what the inside looks like.We are so happy with our decision to move, we love our new home and learn something new about the place everyday. Jackson loves the dishwasher and was even eager to dirty up some dishes and start a load! Yay! Lets hope that lasts for a while, at least the cleaning up part ;) It's a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, town home that seems to be on a never ending hill when driving up it. It comes with a garage, washer/dryer, balcony, a fitness center, a swimming pool, a Rec. room, and multiple playgrounds around the area. We have felt so welcome, our next door neighbors brought us some homemade lasagna the very first day we moved in and our other neighbors introduced themselves to us at church. We both feel at this time that this is where we need to be. Our new church building is also 5 minutes away in walking distance.

Jackson immediately started working at WinCo the night we moved here. He said that it went very well but said that they don't order very much food here at this WinCo, so a lot of the employees end up getting sent home early because there isn't anything to do. Luckily Jackson hasn't been sent home yet, he said he's been really great about keeping busy and finding things to do to keep from getting sent home. He's also already gotten compliments from other co-workers at how fast he is at stocking shelves and unloading stuff. Jackson is a hard worker and I appreciate his faithful dedication to work odd hours and provide for the family, especially since it's not his ideal dream job, but we hope with us being so close to Salt Lake that we can find something else for him that will make him happier.

We are both glad that we moved up here two weeks before I started work, so that we can get unpacked and situated before I start work. The first week of work for me starting on the 16th is going to be a very looong week for me. My schedule of orientation for my first week is Monday thru Friday ranging from hours of 8AM - 7 or 8PM. All I can say is, that it will be a long week and I look forward to finally start working and having orientation week be over with.

We look forward to what awaits us this new year and thank all those who have helped us move this last weekend!
