Maximus Graduated!

I've been meaning to post these pictures for some time now, I just haven't had the chance to do it. I'm actually really far behind on posts and hope to catch up this weekend. Anyway, as everyone knows, Jackson LOVES dogs! He is always with Maximus trying to teach him new stuff. There are a few things we wanted to teach Max but wasn't sure how to do it or not sure on how to teach him some obedience training.

So after much discussion, we decided to sign Maximus up for a puppy training class at Petsmart. I was really hesitant on putting Max in this class but with much discussion, Jackson and I decided this class would not only benefit Maximus but more so Jackson. This class was great on the aspect of teaching Jackson tons of different training techniques which is what Jackson needs if we keep getting more dogs as Jackson desires us to do. I don't mind dogs and like them but not as much as Jackson does. In fact, Jackson has already told me some future dog names thats he wants to use for our next dogs we get when Max gets older.

This was a 6 week course, one night a week for an hour. I went to the first class with them just because I wanted to see the other dogs that were in the class, which turned out to be only two other dogs. I also went to the last class to see any difference that might have been made with the dogs from the training.

So here are some pictures from the first night and the last night. You'll see why, I titled this post Maximus "Graduated" ;)

These hats below were provided by petsmart for the dogs to wear. I was really skeptical on wether they could get it on Maximus. It sure was tough but mission accomplished ;)

And than Petsmart provided all the dogs with a certificate which as you can see Jackson is so proud. Infact he said, "Maybe we can get certificates for all our dogs and frame them." Uh....No lol We are not taking anymore classes. :) I am really glad we had Jackson take this class though, he did learn lots of stuff and has taught Maximus lots of new things. Way to go Max! And way to go Jackson for taking him to this class, I would have never went to all 6 classes. Jackson would even show up early just to hang out in the store with Maximus. You gotta admit, Jackson looks so proud in the pictures below, I don't even think I had to ask him to smile ;)
