4 months old!

Went to the Doctors today for Braxton's 4 month old check up.

July 8, 2013 (4 month appt.)
Weight: 14 lb. 1 oz.
Height: 2' 2.1"
Head Circumference: 16.9 in
The only part that stayed in the 50-75 percentile was his head circumference.
His length is now in the 75-90 percentile
His weight is now in the 25-50 percentile
The pediatrician wasn't worried about any of his growth changes as far as percentage went.

However, she was worried about his neck muscles and would like us to take him to a physical therapist. She reassured me that its pretty normal for babies to favor one side and that she even had a previous baby today get orders to go to a physical therapist. She said that the physical therapist will decide at our first appointment how long we will have to see one and how often. So we'll be working on some more neck stretches here at home.

Braxton also received a bunch more shots: DTap, Hib, Polio, Hepatitis B, Rotavirus, PCV

Overall Braxton is doing great! His appetite has increased of course! His main source of nutrition is still breast milk but we have now added baby food to his diet once a day. We usually give him one serving of baby food in the evenings mixed with rice cereal and water. Braxton loves it! He has had green beans and sweet potatoes so far and has eaten it all up. By the end of the week, he'll get to try some fruits, can't wait!

Some of the things Braxton loves at this time are his jungle jumparoo jumper, he'll just jump and jump and jump some more. He loves to be read to and loves it when we sing to him. Jackson likes to call him squirt and I like to call him pumpkin. Braxton still sleeps 7-9 hours every night and is always smiling!
We love our little Braxton!

His very first time trying rice cereal!

Adding green beans to the rice cereal! Mmmm! So much better!

Napping with mom!

These were taken this morning, I woke up and turned to look over at him and there he was, just hanging out, staring at me and smiling!
