Happy late 4th of July!

This 4th of July was extra special this year; we had visitors from not only Las Vegas, but all the way from Canada too! My Grandparents flew from Alberta Canada into Seattle where they met up with my Aunt Bethie, than from there, Aunt Bethie flew with them to Las Vegas to visit my Aunt Sarah and her family for a week. After a week's worth of visiting in Las Vegas, Aunt Sarah, her five kids, and my grandparents left Las Vegas to head north for the 4th of July! They drove all the way from Las Vegas to Idaho, with a quick two day pit stop in Utah at our place. Aunt Bethie had to head back to Oregon and Uncle Takuya had to stay in Vegas and manage the water park, we sure did miss you both though!
Even with our crazy work schedules, we were able to spend time with family and head to Idaho as well to watch the famous fireworks on the greenbelt. Our week in pictures as usual.

Our new guest bedroom. All that's in it is a bed. Someday we might put more stuff in it but for now, I'm just glad to have a bed in it. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for coming to help give us a reason to finally put a bed in our guest bedroom. No more air mattresses for our guests, yeah!

Mia and Erika playing with Braxton.

Maximus and Roxy doing whatever they can to find a way to the basement to play with the boys.

Grandpa Cavalier reading a book to Braxton on the ipad!
I tried to upload this cute video I recorded, but wasn't able to. Pictures are just as great.

Max and Mia playing with the dogs one morning. The dogs LOVED having the company around!
And Max was so cute, he kept telling me, "I'm taming them, I'm taming the dogs".

Had to bring out the bubbles!

Erika and Braxton

This was the first time we tried baby food/rice cereal with Braxton, not so sure about it.

Braxton enjoying milk afterwards! I thought this pic of Braxton was cute where he was trying to suck his thumb in the loop of the pacifier.

Emi and Erika with the dogs, Emi is the one in the picture on the left by her self and she loved playing with the dogs a lot, which makes sense due to her desire to become a veterinarian some day!

Emily BBQing at the grill since Jackson was still at work. Thanx Em! Yum!

Grandpa enjoying a pickle!

My brother Wade and his family were able to come and visit as well!

Wade and Xylie in the pic on the left, Zaebyn on the right.

Mia!

Cadi, Xylie, Grandpa, Sarah, and Braxton

Are the dogs in heaven or what?!?! All this attention!

Max hanging out with Maximus.

I wish I would of got a video of Zaebyn. He loved watching Roxy go after the bubbles and eating them! He was laughing so hard!

Jackson letting Max feed the dogs.

Emily and I bought fireworks to light off the night before they left for Idaho. I loved having that fenced in cement area in our backyard to light them off.

Grandpa with a sparkler!

Kenji!

Emily use to have Maximus sleep with her at our house when he was a pup, so anytime Em stays the night, Max does what he can to sleep with her still.

In Idaho at Warm River ... you can feed the fish!

After Warm River we headed to Mesa Falls. We found a couple of picnic tables and stopped for lunch.

Braxton loving his Great Grandpa Cavalier!

We added peas to the rice ceral, and so much better! Braxton loves it now, bring on the flavor!!

Braxton's first 4th of July!!

All of us waiting on the greenbelt waiting for the fireworks to start along with all the other thousands of people.

We were playing a fun disney game where we had to guess the character that was on our foreheads! I was the only one daring enough to wear the mickey ears in public.

Happy 4th of July! It was great to have family come up and make such a long trip to visit!  We were trying to figure out how many years it has been since Grandma and Grandpa Cavalier came to Idaho  and I think we figured it's been at least 5 years maybe 7. Not entirely sure how long it's been but either way we're so glad they could come up with Sarah and her kids for the 4th of July! Thank you Grandpa, Grandma and the Ohki's for coming up to visit. It was great to see everyone! We love you all and can't wait for the next time we get to hang out together!
