Sister Hawkins to MTC

Another cousin off to the MTC!  Luckily for me, she was headed to the Provo MTC. My mom told me what day my cousin would be coming up from California so I looked into my schedule for the possibility of seeing her before she left. So after working my graveyard shift, my sister Emily and I headed to Provo to say farewell to my cousin Whitney.

I can't believe how grown up all my younger cousins are now! They used to be babies when my family and I would go visit California and now so many of them are currently serving  or planning on serving missions! I already have a cousin (Camila) in Peru and now Whitney, the one I got to see at the MTC is now in New York! So excited for them! I do have to admit, this post is late as Whitney entered the MTC on May 14th. My blogging skills have been crappy lately. Some days I wonder how much longer my blog will last.

Anyhow, we met up with my cousin and her mom and aunt at the Provo temple which is just across the street from MTC. We had just over an hour to visit and say our goodbyes before she had to report to the MTC. So that was great to be able to spend that time with them. It's been a while since I've seen them since we do all live so far apart.

While we where there, we saw several clusters of missionaries walk by us heading to a training class. Braxton always happened to be quite a few feet away from us on the sidewalk and he would grab the missionary's hand and walk with them to us. It was so cute to watch and it happened a couple of times.

The second group of missionaries, I just love these pictures. I think he looks so cute with them.

As I mentioned, my cousin's Aunt Dawn (her mother's sister) came up for the trip to help out. She was great with Braxton and always went to go chase him if he got too far.

While we where sitting around, I mentioned that Braxton needed his nails clipped so bad and Aunt Dawn happened to have some nailclippers in her purse and jumped all over it, Thanx Dawn!

Getting our last farewell hug and pictures!
