Just some pictures from our month of January. I look through these pictures and think to myself, "Why are there so many pics of Greyson?" Well, it's because Braxton won't ever hold still. He is always on the run, he is definitely no baby anymore. There may be a lot of pictures on here and pictures may look similar, but that's only half of what was on my phone. What can I say, I like snapping pictures. And people use to tell me, "It's just your first child syndrome, you won't take nearly as many pictures of your second or third kiddo." Well, I think I proved that theory wrong.
First bath at home ... not liking it so much.
Braxton, on the other hand liked bath time, or never cried during bath time.
Using big brother's towel.
Still on oxygen in these pics. We would do several trials with him off the oxygen to see if he was okay without it.
He finally got to come off of oxygen on January 9th.
In December, I scheduled to have my esophagus scoped just to check things out and make sure I haven't gotten esophageal cancer or anything else. I just wanted to make sure everything looked good. I hadn't had it checked since 2010 and I wasn't good at taking the medication that I was suppose to take so I just felt a bit worried about it. Jackson and I also figured since we had met our deductible for the year by having Greyson that it would be wise to get it checked before the end of the year. So on December 30th I got scoped and I asked my mom if she wanted to stay and help watch the boys so Jackson could come with me for the scope. The procedure went well. The doctor said that I really have no motility at all in my esophagus so I need to keep chewing my food really well. There was a polyp in the stomach that was biopsied but thankfully it wasn't cancerous. The esophagus looked good too, no signs of esophageal cancer. The doctor highly recommended that I stick to my daily GERD medication because I'm at risk of so many complications. Good news is, we found a medication that I can just take once a day that last for 24 hours which is a blessing, because trying to figure out taking morning and night medication along with working Graveyards just wasn't working. So I am now on top of taking my daily meds as I should have been and it's even pregnancy safe as well. So if I keep taking these meds I shouldn't, hopefully, get esophageal cancer or develop any esophageal perforations.
Mom holding baby Greyson right before she left. Thanks for all your help mom!
Emily's friend Keighty had a birthday in January, which means a reason to make cake.
Braxton has figured out how to blow out candles and wanted to blow them out, so after Keighty got her turn at blowing them out, we let Braxton give it a try.
Mmmm, yummy cake!
I just got done feeding him one night and even topped him off with a bottle and he was still wide awake!
Braxton playing with his kitchen.
The kitchen came with a phone, he loves talking on the phone.
Greyson finally doing well without oxygen. Still has the stickers on just in case we needed to stick him back on it here and there.
Max has been really good with Greyson. If we put him on the floor for tummy time, Maximus will go lay right next to the blanket and just watch him.
Love his smile :)
Kisses!
Valentines Day Pajamas, sporting them off a few weeks early.
One night I went and made freezer meals with my friend. I kept saying all night long how excited I was about all of them. I'm saving them for when I start working again so I can just throw them in the oven or the crockpot. Only a week and a half left before I start work again. :(
I was holding my boys and thought they looked cute when looking down at them.
Grandma and Grandpa Plott stopping by on there way to see Jackson's brother.
The light makes his hair look red, but it is very much brown.
My friend came over several times to keep me company and brought her kiddos and dog. Maximus loved every moment of it.
Friends!
One day Braxton came up to sit by me and I told my sister Emily that this would be a perfect picture if I had my makeup done and looked nicer. Emily of course took a picture anyway, oh well.
Me and my boys.
