Easter weekend

Well we had a lot of Easter pictures so I decided to do a separate post about that.

The same park up the street that had a Halloween trunk-or-treat does an Easter egg hunt as well. The great thing about it is that it was roped off into certain ages. The Easter hunt this year was more fun for us to watch now that Braxton can walk around and pick up stuff himself, as a one year old he didn't really get the concept as well.

Grandma and Grandpa came into town for general conference weekend which happened to fall on the same day as Easter this year.

Grandpa helping Braxton out at the hunt since daddy had to work that morning.

The 5-10 minute wait for it to start can feel like forever to a two year old!

They didn't really have Easter eggs for Braxton's age group to pick up, it was more of just "dum dum" suckers, rubber duckies and little toys for the kiddos to pick up.

A closer look at what the stuff was.

Here's the lady who puts the event together along side the Easter Bunny.

He got the concept down rather quickly.

Loved this picture! Braxton wasn't so sure about the Easter bunny but he grabbed the sucker from him anyway.

This was the area of one of the older kiddos hunt group.

Checking out his Easter basket, he loves suckers!

The neighbor kids down the street invited several people in our ward to do an Easter egg hunt in their backyard. It was a lot of fun as well, I'm glad we went.

They had this huge swing set in there backyard and once Braxton saw it, he couldn't care less about finding the Easter eggs lying around on the ground.

Just looking at these pictures make him look so grown up, climbing all over the swing set by himself.

Showing dad what he got at the neighbors house.

It was previously arranged during Greyson's baby blessing for our friend Tim, his wife and baby to come visit us from Idaho this same weekend.

I think Jackson and Tim just wanted to make their meat lover pizza again.

Just a few of the many meats they put on the pizza.

Their little boy getting so big, about 10 months old I think.

Plastering it on about a mile high! Lucky for us girls, we ate ham and heavenly potatoes instead.

Time to color Easter eggs. It's so fun to watch Braxton as the months go by be able to participate more as he gets older. I remember sitting him at the table last year and him not doing much of anything. This year he was so fascinated with the whole process.

Eventually he just gave up with the spoons and just used his hands, haha.

Couldn't resist posting this picture, the hair fits it and everything, haha. Love ya Em!

We were trying to get a picture of him with his hands ... his hands were just covered in colored dye.

This was back when he still had to wear the harness.

Tim's little boy had so much fun watching us play with Maximus.

Jackson was dressed up all nice as he had just attend the Priesthood session.

Our own mini easter egg hunt in our living room the next day.
