December Festivities!

December was such a busy month for and unfortunately Jackson was out of town working most of the time but I'm glad we at least able to do a few fun things.

My sister was nice to tag along with us to see the lights. Unfortunately Braxton was ready for bed when we went and he wasn't exactly in the mood for pictures but he was in OK spirits for the most part.

I just love the faces he makes. :)

Just another day of smiles in December.

I volunteered to bring a dessert to the ward Christmas party and the plan was to bring a cheese cake. As I got ready to make it I realized I didn't have any Graham Crackers and I most certainly didn't want to run back to the store after being out and about all day shopping. So I looked into everything I had and surprisingly enough had what was needed for pumpkin rolls. I've never ever made pumpkin rolls before and to be honest it sounded so difficult. I'm all about the instructions and easy recipes! But I felt like I had to bring something since I signed up that I would so I decided I'd go for it and hope it would turn out.
Here they are! Pumpkin Rolls! I was told they tasted good. I was worried about that since I  had never made them before!

The ward said Santa would be at the Christmas party so before I left with the boys I told Braxton that Santa would be there and he got all excited. Sadly enough Braxton thinks of my dad when I say Santa just because he has seen my dad play Santa before. I felt sorry for the poor kid, I knew he was excited to see Grandpa but knew that wasn't the case when he saw this Santa!
I'm so proud of Braxton for going to sit on Santa's lap, I knew he was a little scared since he figured it out at first glance that it wasn't my dad. He did so well! No smiles ... but I can live with that.

Greyson did really good too ... as long as he didn't see who was holding him hahaha.

I put poor Jackson to work one of the weekends that he was home in December helping me make "Christmas Crack" (treats). I like to try and give out a Christmas treat every year to our friends. There were lots to make and I didn't want to make them all by myself. Jackson was a great sport and pretty soon we had a system down to whip up all these treats real quick.
Jackson hard at work lol.

The end result! Yet again this was another recipe I had never tried but it had five stars by it and everyone's comments said that these were amazing. They turned out pretty good and Jackson even wanted to make some more the next weekend he was home. :)

Found these cute pictures on my phone and had to post them for memory keeping.
