Can't believe my baby has turned one already! The year just flew on by! It's amazing to see the differences between my two boys; they are most definitely nothing alike, even by looks. Braxton is more chill and Greyson most definitely knows what he wants and has his own personality, that's for sure. We sure are happy to have him though, what a joy he is!
I'm not a big fan of his birthday month being December though. There is so much going on, everyone busy with the holidays. I feel like we could barely find time to squeeze in a party for him. Plus Jackson was away every week in southern Utah working so trying to find time to make sure daddy was here was a hard part as well. Here's to hoping I can do a better party for him next year. This year his party was at home with just his family. It was just a fun little party. I tried to take a bunch of pictures of him since I wasn't able to go get him any professional pictures done, I feel like such a slacker. Luckily for us he doesn't really care ... yet. Oh well, here's to hoping for a better birthday next year.

This beautiful cake was made by a dear friend of ours. She did such a great job with it! We love her dearly!
Greyson was totally different, he lunged right for the cake. I didn't expect that at all since Braxton didn't want anything to do with it. But Greyson was all for touching it and figuring out what this object was in front of him.
Daddy had to help him figure out what to do with the cake in his hand though.
This was the cake I had originally planned on having Greyson touch and smash but oh well.
Braxton was sooooo upset that he couldn't touch the cake yet. He was in his room crying about it, whoa is me, and was so hurt that Greyson could touch the cake but not him. So this picture is of him finally getting a chance to touch the cake after letting Greyson get to do what he wanted to with the cake. Braxton LOVES cake!! Especially the frosting!
Braxton insisted on blowing out the candle. We put it in front of Greyson but he didn't have a clue what to do with it obviously.

I can't get over how long Braxton's hair was. Way toooo long!! I hate getting his haircut but plan to get it done soon after seeing this.
