Provo City Center Temple

One of these days I will learn that I need to plan ahead and get things done right away. I've been wanting to go to the Provo City Center Temple Open House since I saw that others were attending it, but once again, I waited until the very last minute to make it happen. I think we finally went the last week they were offering tours. Phew, we made it! It can be kind of hard planning things around both of our work schedules, more so Jackson's work schedule as he doesn't know his schedule till the weekend before. I at least know my schedule a month in advanced.

Either way, it was a lot of fun and beautiful to see how it looked inside. It was cute, Braxton just kept calling it a castle. In fact he calls our Logan temple picture in our house a castle, so when we were getting ready to go to the temple open house, I kept saying, "We are going to go see the castle, do you want to go see the castle?" And his response would be, "Castle?!" I need to be better about correcting him that it's a temple and not a castle. Another side note about this trip, is Braxton kept saying, "Whoa!" once we were inside. The line to wait to get in was kind of long and took about 30 minutes, so that was hard to keep a 3 year old entertained but Braxton did really well for the most part. Either way, I'm glad we made the time to go, whether it was last minute or not.

At the little visitors center outside the temple.

I had a TON of pictures of Braxton on my phone due to me trying to get a picture of him for Pre-school. His first day of preschool was the following week and in the paperwork it asked for a recent picture of him and I didn't like any of the ones I had so I have lots of pictures of him with me attempting to get him to smile and hold still at the temple. No worries I didn't share every single one of them. Luckily, he is such a cute kid that I don't mind having that many pictures of him. I'm sure I'm biased and think that way just because he's my own. :)

The final picture we ended up using for school. His hair is too long but oh well, I hate cutting his hair.

They had this really cool place set up where you could get your picture taken in front of a large photo back drop of the Provo City Center Temple and what was even cooler was they had a big screen in front of the camera that you could look at to see how your picture was going to look. So with the wonderful help to that, the boys looked straight on at the camera and we got a really good picture taken of us. I'm so glad we were able to find the time in our busy, crazy schedules to go through the Provo City Center Temple.
Families are forever!
