Well February sure did come and go by way too fast, I'm just glad I got to be off work for one more month to enjoy every second of being with our new baby and Braxton. There may be a lot of pictures this month but be prepared for hardly any to post next month due to the fact that I currently don't have a phone ... so if you have tried to contact me since March 11th, I am not purposely ignoring you, I just don't have a phone. Someday I will have a phone with that same number but for now contact my husband. It's amazing how different my life has been without a phone. Honestly not too bad, I kind of like not having constant access to the world, the only down fall is I don't have a camera in my pocket to take constant pictures. Oh well such is life. I'm still doing everything I possibly can to retrieve those pictures that were taken in the beginning of March which included little Greyson's baby blessing. I would have sent it to get fixed sooner but it just kills me to just think about those priceless moments, forever gone. So therefore I hung on to my broken phone searching for ways to retrieve those photos. I do appreciate all the photos I have received from family of what they have taken, so thank you!
Well the beginning of February was exciting for us because we got to head to Idaho and see some family, more importantly, got to be apart of our niece's baby blessing. Jackson's brother and his wife had a beautiful baby girl the same month as our little Greyson and we were lucky enough to be apart of the blessing.
While we were in Idaho, we got to see another grandma of mine. More importantly she got to meet our little baby. "Grandma Hall" played a huge part in his recovery with her constant prayers on our behalf. I'm so glad they had the chance to meet.
Braxton playing with the legos at her house.
A day at Blast Off. He loved it! Such a fun inexpensive place for kids to play.
Jackson was a great sport about following him everywhere inside the tubes, balls, etc.
The next three pictures are of the main kids play place.
When I was in high school, I thought these lamps were so cool. Lucky me, got one for Christmas many years ago. It has stayed at my parent's house since I moved out and went to college. It has become a fun a little treat for the grandkids whenever visiting Grandma and Grandpa. It is a little hard to see but there are plastic fishes and sea horses that float up and down in the water and the color of the light changes. The kids think it is pretty cool!
I might have mentioned this before but my sister got my dad a little Foosball table to play with the grandkids when visiting. The kiddos had a blast.
Meeting her baby cousin for the first time.
I'm so glad our second was a boy, Braxton loves playing with boys.
Braxton showing the other grandkids the water lamp.
This picture was taken after the baby blessing. It is of all of the cousins that could make it to the blessing, most of which were on her side of the family. Braxton couldn't make it due to throwing up the night before and morning of.
A close up of the kiddos.
Grandparents
I love dressing my boys up to look like little men.
Our turn at holding little miss.
Braxton loves the tub.
Found Aunt Lou and Greyson napping.
Little G is starting to like taking baths now.
Best of pals!! As much as Maximus can drive me crazy, I'm truly glad we have him. He and Braxton truly are becoming the best of friends. We've even started teaching Braxton how to feed the dog. He loves doing it!
Fun with Aunt Lou
During the month of February we faced many different types of illnesses at our house including throwing up, coughing, runny nose, colds ... we had a taste of it all and it seemed like someone was always sick. Not fun. Braxton started off being sick first and had a bad cough and runny nose. I thought I kept Braxton away from Greyson but obviously not good enough. Greyson eventually started to sound the same as big brother. It seemed like he was getting worse on day three and his breathing looked really fast and it looked like he was having a hard time breathing, I was worried about his oxygen saturation due to the past oxygen we had at home for him. So I took him into the doctor and they ordered a chest x-ray just to be safe and rule out pneumonia because of his history as a NICU baby. Luckily he did not have pneumonia!
Feeling a bit better.
Emily all dressed up for a date.
Tummy time.
Braxton quickly got right over him. He wasn't squishing him luckily but wanted to be down on the floor with him. That ended rather quickly by me. Braxton is so anxious to play with him, it will be fun to see the two of them play as he gets older.
A check up at the doctor since the chest x-ray. Doing much better.
Another picture I just loved and had to take. I don't tell Braxton to do any of this to Max, he just does. So cute! :) Max is so good to just let him.
This is how I found him after going outside lol.
Happy Valentines Day ... Braxton got me flowers! :)
Jackson and I went out on a date, thanx to Aunt Lou!
Max getting as close as I'll allow him to be next to baby G.
Brotherly love!
This is one of the days Braxton wasn't feeling so well.
Outside play, they love to be outside!
One of the best investments we made was a new swing. He loves watching the owls up top move.
The face he gives me after a full belly! :) This was the weekend we went to Idaho to get taxes done.
Keeping him naked till right before church.
Greyson got to meet a very special friend of mine that Sunday in Idaho. She was my young woman's leader growing up and has been such a great example to me. Her lessons were amazing and we even share the same birthday. She played a big part in Greyson's recovery by her constant prayers on his behalf. She always left me kind thoughts on facebook when he was very sick. She cares so much for me and my family, I'm just so glad she was at church that day and could meet him.
Baby G talking to Grandpa.
Happy Birthday! I woke up super early and made one of his favorites before work, pancakes.
Love this picture, finally got a pretty good picture of the two of them.
Brothers!
This was so funny! Braxton loves blowing out candles so once the candles were lit he tried so hard to blow out the candles. He did not want to wait for any birthday song to take place.
And he was happy once the singing stopped.
There birthdays are close enough, they can share the joy in blowing out the candles.
Enjoying some chocolate cake, one of daddy's favorites.
Trying on his blessing outfit.
