Another year has come and gone!

To start off my birthday week of turning 28 (I think, I had to calculate that by counting the years etc), we took Braxton out to get a haircut on Monday. It was well needed, this time I went pretty short because I don't want to have to take him every two weeks to get a cut. I'm hoping it's awhile before we cut his hair again. Emily was in town and tagged along with us.

Emily helped distract Braxton by blowing bubbles.

All done! Doesn't he look handsome!!

Emily took me out for lunch to get some chinese, we had no idea that it was a buffet. We got so stuffed!
Braxton trying out the ice cream (Em's idea, what a messy one too!)

Messes are fine though, because Emily loves to give him baths whenever she can.

As soon as Jackson got home, we went on a bike ride. I told Em that we just had to go now with all the calories we had from the chinese food. She was a little hesitant but was a great sport about it. Lucky for us, her bike was still in our basement from winter.

It was great! We went on the bike trail that is just west of our house. If I could, I would do that trail everyday, kind of hard with a baby though. So I was thrilled when Emily agreed to come with me! My plan was to go pretty far too. I wanted to go farther but it was getting dark and cold. Thank goodness Emily had a headlight on her bike. We sure needed it on our way back. We went 20 miles total in just 2 hours!! 10 miles there and 10 back!! Wahooo! That's pretty good timing right?? I wouldn't know because I don't bike that much but I thought that was great timing, even with all the hills! It was great and I would have gone farther if it was earlier in the day. I absolutely loved it! I could last for quite awhile on a bike compared to running. I so prefer biking over running any day. Thanx again Em for coming with me. Sorry I made you go 20 miles, you honestly did a great job!

The moon that was starting to rise, just had to stop and take a picture of it.

The two of us! A 10-minute stop for picture taking!

A picture of Braxton the next morning with his new haircut all spiked. I just love his eyes in this picture!

The day I got home from work on my birthday, I found this sitting on the counter from Jackson. Thank you so much babe! :) Hopefully I can eat just one butterfinger on occasion instead of all of them at once!

I just love this picture of Braxton. This was him watching the video I recorded of him and Maximus playing. He loves this video, I wish I could show it to you on here. If not, just go to my facebook page. Anyhow, Braxton still to this day just loves to sit and watch the video of him and Maximus, so cute!

After nap time, Tessa came over for a play date with her two boys! It was way fun, we went to this indoor play place that I have never been to but was told about. You can play there as long as you want for a really cheap price. Ages 3 and under are free, even better! We definitely will be going there again, what a fun place for kids!

Tessa taking one of her boys in the jungle gym area to go down the slide.

The cool learning activities on the wall!

A huge tree! Another fun way to get to the jungle gym and slide.

Braxton sure enough found yet another way to the huge slide, bypassing the route Tessa took in the pic above and bypassing the huge tree. We had know idea that this way too led to the huge slide.

It was so fun crawling around in the jungle gym with the boys! These are big drums for kids to play on.

This part was like a spaceship!

I just love having someone available to take our picture! Thanx Tessa!

There was a cool grocery store there for kids to pretend and shop. Of course none of the food is on the shelves because it's constantly being played with, nonetheless still fun!

This was so cute to watch. Braxton didn't do much, but I just had to take a picture. I don't even know the kid next to him, haha. Such a cute pic!

A picture of the jungle gym we climbed into.

And a basket ball hoop for older kids.

It really was such a fun place!! I will definitely be going there again, can't go wrong with it being free!

Out to lunch/dinner at Wendy's!

Back to my house to try out the toy car that the boys just loved!

The wonderful gift that Tessa gave me with a box of chocolates! So sweet!! Thank you so much Tessa! :)

Emily got there later on that night and took me out for ice cream at Sub Zero!! We had a coupon too which made it even better. Braxton didn't get any because it was too late but he sure did enjoy watching them make it with the cold air!

Emily reading him his bedtime stories!

Since Jackson was gone for my actual "Birth"day, he took us out to eat followed by an evening at the dog park that Saturday. It was way fun! Thank you everyone for making my birthday a great one, including all the birthday wishes I received!!
