Easter festivities with Aunt Lou

Braxton's first Easter egg hunt this year. I wasn't going to go to any egg hunt since Braxton doesn't understand anyway and can't eat the candy, but Emily told me her work was throwing an Easter party the Saturday before Easter. So I figured sure, why not, sounds like fun! So we were able to participate in a little bit of an Easter event this year. It was a lot of fun, I'm so glad we went. Once I found out Jackson couldn't go due to work, I asked Cadi (my brother's wife) if she wanted to come as well, which she did. It was great to have someone else to hang out with.

So we met up at Emily's work around 10 o'clock, which I'm glad we did because it put us at the front of the large group lining up to do the Easter egg hunt. We where all inside waiting to be allowed outside to the grassy area. All of a sudden someone opened the doors and we all headed out to the Easter eggs. Apparently we weren't suppose to pick up the eggs yet but we saw other kids next to us going for it, so we figured we better pick up some eggs as well. So we ended up with a lot of eggs. In fact the guy running the event came out behind the big group saying it wasn't time yet, which by that point everyone was outside and all the eggs were already picked up. Lucky for everyone else, they had a bunch more eggs to put out for another egg hunt in the day. So they just figured to do it now, since there were a lot of kids that didn't get any eggs. So during the second egg hunt, Emily just took Xylie and Braxton out to go pick up eggs since Zaebyn got quite a few from the first batch.

It was honestly a really fund day! We did so much in just a little bit of time. I'm glad you were able to tag along with us Cadi. Thanx for inviting us Emily, it was great to see you! Thanx for all your help with the kiddos.
