Day 3 of California, Sunday

Day three started out with a huge accomplishment ... all 20 of us managed to get up, get ready and make it to church by 8:45 a.m. The reason that was a big accomplishment was because we were all sleeping under the same roof. Grandma and Grandpa managed to find room to sleep my entire family as well as my Uncle Jason and his family. That is a lot of people for one house and two bathrooms. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for putting us up and feeding us a yummy breakfast of waffles and eggs every morning! (No one makes waffles and eggs like my Grandpa Hawkins!)

After we all went to the first hour of church at my Grandparents ward, we decided to head on over to Santa Cruz for the day to see more sea lions and hang out with everyone at the beach. It was a great relaxing day.

Walking on the pier. Everyone in this picture is part of the group.

Looking at the sea lions. Braxton LOVED them!! He thought they where the funniest things! :)
He laughed so hard every time one jumped on and off of the board and he loved all the different sounds they would make! It was so fun to watch him.

Braxton's first time at the beach. He wasn't so sure about the sand and how it felt to walk on. It definitely was a new experience for him. And he wasn't too crazy about the ocean waves coming up too close to him either.

He sure did love the beach toys that everyone contributed!

I don't remember what my Uncle Paul called them but they where little sea crabs that crawled around in the wet sand. He was showing Braxton this particular one.

More cousins!

The bright sun! I left my sunglasses at home and suffered for the day, definitely bought a new pair the next day.

Jackson is such a good daddy and was so helpful with Braxton the whole time. Always willing to walk with him, carry him, and keep him occupied. (Braxton is happier pushing a stroller rather then sitting in it!)

Emily with the nieces all showered and worn out from a fun day at the beach.
