My cousin from California was headed to the MTC in Provo to kick start her mission there before heading to New York. Which meant more visitors for us! We love getting visitors! My cousin's plan was to arrive with her mom and sister that Tuesday evening to stay the night at our place before going to the MTC the very next day. Previous arrangements were made with my brother Wade and his family to come over that night for dinner as well.
The main reason my brother was coming over that evening was because he was in need of my nursing skills. Ten days earlier he had received 14 staples in his head and it was now time to have them removed. The cost for me to remove his staples was a good price ... free ... but he tipped me with pizza for everyone! What a guy!! It's quite the story as to why he had staples in his head and too long of a story for me to post on here. So if your interested in finding out his reason for staples, contact him. Either way I was given the privilege of taking out the staples. It's actually kind of fun to take out staples.
Here's a picture of Wade's head covered with 14 staples. His hair may look greasy but it was some ointment the doctor told him to keep putting on his head daily.
His head after removal of staples. Looks like he might have a scar there for life.
After dinner and visiting with Wade and his family, we hung around with my California family for a bit longer before bed. Braxton really warmed up to them during the time they were there visiting.
My Aunt Laura holding Braxton, he climbed up to sit by her all by himself.
Time for bed, Maximus warmed up to them as well. He was lucky that they are animal lovers. Maximus was in heaven to have more people show him love and attention.

Emily giving Peyton a hug goodbye before she heads to the MTC the next day. Emily had to work that day.

Braxton and Peyton.
Sisters!
Just pulling up to the MTC.
Love you Peyton, you'll do great work in New York!
On the drive home Braxton decided to talk up a storm to his 2nd cousin Brooke.
This is what you do at night when you're bored, try out all the kid toys. Emily was pushing the two of them around the kitchen.
Braxton got a bedtime story one last time from them before heading to bed. They left for home the next day.
It was great to see you all and thanx so much for all your help with everything. It was fun to get to spend that time with you! Missing you tonz already!
