I've decided to try and post my random pictures I take along with my actual posts. It becomes too much work collecting a bunch of random pictures trying to find time to organize and post.
A morning at the kids play place at the rec center. I really like this place because it's indoors. I have a feeling we'll be playing here a lot this winter if we need somewhere to go.
It was cute to watch him play with the shopping cart grabbing all the groceries like his mommy.
He likes to play on mommy and daddy's bed and actually kept this hat on long enough to snap a picture.
So onto our general conference weekend. Jackson and I talked about getting our carpets shampooed and cleaned around the time that Emily moved into our basement but never got around to it. My parents offered to help so we took them up on that offer and thought general conference weekend would be a good weekend to do it so they could stay through Sunday and not miss out on their church callings.
Snapped a picture of my dad washing our carpets. Thanx so much dad! It's great to have clean carpets!
Braxton hanging out on the couch that was moved into our kitchen at that time.
Braxton loves "helping" with the dishes. Hopefully he'll still want to help out with them when he gets older. Every time I start doing the dishes, Braxton will grab the stepping stool and bring it over to the sink to help.
Emily helped decorate the top of my cupboards with fall colors. It looks so nice now!
My original plan was to have Braxton be Olaf for Halloween, but he didn't really like the costume on himself. I'm surprised I even got a picture of him smiling with it on him because he really was skeptical about wearing it.
After general conference on Sunday, we thought, "Lets hurry and decorate the house for Halloween!" My parents were great sports about it and were a big help!
Even Jackson was great about offering to help me make the bats.
Even Braxton was helpful as always!
It was cute, we had Braxton go inside and grab the little ghosts for my mom to hang out on our bushes. He loved helping out and brought her every single one individually by themselves. He loved it!
Jackson and Braxton playing with Maximus outside. He loves to play with his daddy and doggy outside.
Another moment he got to be helpful with the dishes.
The finished product of our house. We only got the outside done that day. I thought it turned out great, everyone did a great job!
Random picture time.
Our next costume trial with Braxton, Elmo! He loves Elmo so I thought we could give that a try. He seemed to like it, a lot more than Olaf that is.
We had a gift card to use at Olive garden, so we spent an afternoon there one day.
I was sleeping one afternoon for work and woke up to the inside of our house being decorated for Halloween. It looked pretty cool and Braxton loved it, the bats especially.
These milk cartons were suppose to go outside but have never made it that far. I'm thinking that's were they will stay for this year's Halloween.
Braxton and his doggy.
Braxton got a package in the mail from his cousins in Washington. Melanie and her girls sent him a Halloween art project for him to decorate and put together. We plan to do it this coming Friday on Halloween and we look forward to it. Thanx Mel, it was a fun surprise to get in the mail and made our evening.
Emily and Max cuddling on the couch, good thing our couch cover was in the wash.
One day Emily and I were out and about running errands and on the freeway I saw this unicorn popping it's head out the window of a car. It looked real and I literally took a quick second look at it. I had to get a picture. It was so funny to see that on the road. It looked so real!
