My very first 5K. Back in June a friend of mine told me about the Electric run and told me I should sign up and do it because she signed up. So I did and asked Emily if she wanted to do it too. I'm glad I asked Emily because it was so packed with people I wasn't able to find any of my friends that signed up to do it, so luckily Emily and I drove there together. Jackson was working late so I had Braxton with me in his stroller. At first I was thinking I would just push the stroller with me and take Braxton because I didn't think Jackson would get there in time which I'm glad I didn't. There was gravel and all sorts of little things to keep me from running with a stroller. Plus it is much harder to run with a stroller. Luckily, Jackson got there in time and took Braxton to the finish line to wait for us there. I thought Emily and I did pretty good for the most part, I feel like I was slowing her down because she runs more than me but she was nice and kept me going. We probably wouldn't have finished as fast as we did if it wasn't for her pushing me along. If I can remember correctly we completed the race in about 50 minutes. I'm sure the stopping to take pictures of every cool glow in the dark thing didn't help our time but it was still fun. Thanx Em for doing the race with me, it was fun!

I tried to take out Braxton's red eye on the picture on the left and it just screwed up his eye, and I couldn't find an undo button for the life of me! Grrr! I still think it was a cute pic, even with screwed up eyes. Thanx Em for letting him borrow your sweater!
